Business in Valencia – VALENCIA'S TRADE FAIR CENTRE
Valencia's Trade Fair Centre, known as Feria Valencia, is the oldest of its type in Spain. Founded almost 90 years ago in 1917 it has a wealth of experience under its belt. The Feria Valencia relocated in 1969 from the Alameda part of the city to its present home in Benimámet.
Feria Valencia is the largest exhibition centre in Spain in terms of surface area and is one of the top ten in the world with 231.000 square metres. Year after year an average of over one million two hundred thousand professional visitors from all the world come to Feria Valencia and almost twelve thousand businesses exhibited their products in its trade fairs. Feria Valencia’s impact on the local economy is estimated to be somewhere in the region of 600 million euros annually.
Located five kilometres from the city centre, Feria Valencia is easily accessible from the national motorway system. It is also connected with Valencia's port –one of the most active in the Mediterranean and home to the 2007 America's Cup races- and with Valencia’s airport in Manises, only 5 km from the fair.
